After four years of hard work, we celebrated the launch of our first critically acclaimed AAA release, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, on August 23, 2011.

The playtest department was added to Eidos-Montréal during the summer of 2010, headed up by Alexandre Dessaint and a team of observers. The team conduct playtests on title for the whole of the Eidos-Square Enix group .

Phase 3's construction began in early January 2010 on the 5th floor in anticipation of the new project and the increasing number of employees.

The acquisition of Eidos-Montréal by Square Enix is finalized.

Eidos-Montréal begins hiring for its second project Thief4 in June 2008.

Construction begins on expanding the 6th floor to accommodate more employees.

Eidos Montreal has it's first Open house giving the public a tour of the new studio.

The third instalment of the Deus Ex franchise was announced in November 2007.

The Quality Assurance department was populated in early October and within their first week they began testing Death JR, QA's first title.

In early October phase one has been completed and the Eidos-Montréal employees move into their first permanent offices in the Gordon Brown building on the 6th floor.

In April 2007 Eidos-Montréal’s first Producer, Art Director, Game Designer, IT Director and Concept Artist are hired.

Eidos Montreal rents temporary offices in the Spectra building for 5 months while searching for a permanent home.

February 15th 2007 a press conference confirms that Eidos Interactive will be building a new studio in Montreal with Stephane D'Astous as General Manager. This studio will solely work on AAA titles for the new generation consoles; Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3.
