| Title: Lead Animator |

Jo Summary:
Duties: |
- Bring to life unique, appealing and most of all believable characters in both in-game and cinematic scenarios.
- Respect a delivery schedule of high level animation assets set by the rest of the team.
- Clearly communicate progress and issues with the Lead Animator, and be willing to understand and act upon direction.
- Manage and coach the animation team;
- Evaluate the technology restrictions on the engine for the animation view;
- Plan the technical training following the engine request and animation software used;
- If needed, evaluate contractual options for animations;
- Search for contractual companies and give recommendations to the producer;
- Work closely with the Game Design team in order to be aware of their animation needs and production delays;
- Work closely with the Programming team to evaluate the technology development needed to realize animation required by the Game Design team and plan the restrictions;
- Prepare a system to plan and follow the tasks according to the needs and schedule restrictions;
- Evaluate and separate the tasks within the animation team;
- Participate to the recruitment process for the animation team;
- Participate to the yearly performance evaluation.

| Experience and Qualifications |
- Diploma in 3D animation or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience in 3D animation in the video game industry; at least 1 as a Lead
- Bilingual
|
| Technical Skills |
- Working knowledge of hardware platform limitations;
- Knowledge in Animation software such as 3DSMax and Maya.
|
| Interpersonal Skills |
- Experience in planning and project management
- Ability to communicate, coach and mobilize a work team.
|
| Motivation and Interests |
- Ambition and passion for videogames are essential!
