Title: IT Support Analyst  
Reporting to: Helpdesk Manager
 
Job Summary:
Duties:
  • Installing/Maintaining hardware and software
  • User account administration Monitoring support incidents and working with support staff to prioritise and resolve them efficiently
  • Incident Logging in Sostenuto Helpdesk Software
  • Troubleshooting technical issues (software, hardware or networking)
  • Supporting AV Meeting Rooms
  • Managing IT Loan equipment
  • Administering file permissions and print queues
  • Administering the phone system and Voicemail
  • 2nd Level Support of LAN and standalone printers
  • Antivirus administration through Antivirus Server Console
  • Assisting with the administration of IT assets through LANDesk.

Profile  Essential
 
Experience and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working in second line support for a medium sized company supporting 200+ users
  • College (or higher) diploma in computers
  • Supplier management (an asset)
  • Asset & Inventory Management (an asset)
  • Bilingualism (French & English)
Technical Skills
  • Experience supporting Windows XP, Vista
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite (2003/2007)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Networking (e.g. TCP/IP)
  • Experience supporting PC hardware at a build level
  • Administration Experience  of Helpdesk Management Software
  • Experience Supporting Blackberry devices
  • Active Directory & Exchange Account Administration
  • Mitel phone system experience (VoIP)
  • Exposure to Sostenuto Helpdesk software
  • Knowledge of LANdesk
  • Trend Micro OfficeScan
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • VPN
  • Exposure to current portable and handheld technology
  • Gaming PC hardware experience
  • Game Console experience
  • ADSL Hardware
  • Exposure to Autodesk Maya
  • Familiarity with Foundry networking equipment
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • A+ Hardware Accreditation
  • MCSE, MCSA or MCP
